residential construction fall protection
residential safety net installation.
Fall arrest safety nets for residential construction work across Manawatū and Wellington. Installed to protect the crew without slowing the build.
residential construction fall protection
fall arrest nets that stay out of the way.
Working on roof framing, upper floors and open structures carries a real risk of a serious fall. Fall arrest safety nets are installed as close as practicable beneath the active work area. If someone falls, the net reduces the distance they fall, progressively deflects and absorbs the impact. With enough clear space below, it helps prevent them striking the ground, a lower level or another obstacle.
Because the safety net protects the work area below the crew, people can move freely above it without clipping a lanyard on at every new position. The space above stays clear for framing, roofing and other residential construction work.

why builders use safety nets
protection underneath, freedom above.
01
a shorter, softer fall.
Installed close beneath the work, the net reduces fall distance and absorbs energy as it deflects. Correct clearance below keeps the falling worker away from the ground and other obstacles.
02
the crew keeps moving.
No stopping to clip and unclip at every new position. The crew can move between framing, trusses and roof work without the fall protection becoming another job to manage.
03
saving lives, and nail guns.
It’ll catch your nail gun too. Dropped tools and small offcuts can land in the net instead of the floor below, saving the tool, the clean-up and possibly someone underneath. Just clear anything that lands in it and have the net checked before carrying on.
WorkSafe describes safety nets as collective fall-arrest systems that reduce fall distance and absorb the energy of a fall. Nets must have enough clearance below and must be kept free of debris. Read WorkSafe’s safe-use guidance.

residential applications
from new homes to multi-storey builds.
Safety netting can be planned for a wide range of residential work where the structure, access and clearance suit the system.
01
single-storey new builds
Protection below roof and ceiling work while the build moves through framing and close-in.
02
multi-storey homes
Safety net coverage planned around upper floors, roof work and changing work areas.
03
townhouse developments
Consistent installation and hire across repeated or connected residential builds.
04
apartment construction
Planned coverage for multi-unit and staged residential work areas.
